Roxborough Memorial Hospital Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer, Beth Leahey, MSN, RN

 

Philadelphia, PA (March 23, 2024) —Roxborough Memorial Hospital recently announced the appointment of an experienced healthcare administrator as its new chief nursing officer.

Beth has more than two decades of experience in the medical field, which includes emergency medical services, emergency nursing, clinical education, nursing management, and executive leadership. Most recently, she served as Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Professional Services at Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE, where she held executive, financial, and operational leadership over numerous departments including nursing (inpatient and outpatient), surgical services, cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology, diagnostic radiology, pharmacy, respiratory, laboratory, clinical education and orientation, wound care, therapies (PT/OT/Speech), communications, incident command, and emergency medical services. She was also acting director of clinical education.

Prior to that role, Beth was the Nursing Director and Clinical Educator for the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical/Surgical Units, also at St. Francis Hospital. Earlier in her career, Beth served as an emergency nurse and was an adjunct professor at several colleges.

Beth earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Drexel University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association.
