About Us
Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit acute care hospital, alongside the Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, both proudly affiliated with the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity.
With a capacity of 131 beds, Roxborough Memorial Hospital has been a cornerstone of healthcare for the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities for over a century, having commenced operations in 1890. Complementing our clinical services, the Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing has been dedicated to educating nursing professionals since 1898. Our hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the oldest and largest hospital accreditation body in the nation, underscoring our commitment to excellence in patient care.
