Roxborough Memorial Hospital Welcomes
Michael Minni, DO, MS to Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s Urgent Care
Philadelphia, PA (November 17, 2023) – Michael Minni, DO, a board-certified family practice physician, has joined Roxborough Memorial Hospital Urgent Care.
In his new role, Dr. Minni will work alongside a team of diverse and experienced professionals who have a strong passion for providing community-based urgent care.
“I enjoy family medicine because I am able to treat patients who have various conditions and can provide care to the entire family, from infancy to seniors,” said Dr. Minni.
Dr. Minni uses lifestyle medicine as the foundation for the treatment of chronic diseases as well as preventive care services. He encourages and empowers patients to live healthier lives by addressing physical activity, pain management, behavior health coaching, and the avoidance of harmful substances.
Dr. Minni’s robust medical training gave him well-rounded and diverse clinical experience in adult and pediatric settings, outpatient practices, urgent care, and emergency care.
Dr. Minni has been working at Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s Urgent Care under an outside provider consulting organization since 2019, and now he is joining the Roxborough Family, employed by the hospital.
Dr. Minni received his bachelor of science degree in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University and his masters of science degree in biomedical research from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, both in Philadelphia. He also completed his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at Jefferson Health Northeast in Philadelphia, and his internal medicine residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Minni has been featured in numerous academic research publications, including being recognized four times in the Proceedings of the 24th American Peptide Symposium.
He holds professional affiliations with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians Association and the Academy of Family Physicians.
