Roxborough Memorial Hospital Welcomes

Kenneth L. Jacobson, MD, to Roxborough Memorial Hospital Urgent Care

 

Philadelphia, PA (January 12, 2024) – Kenneth L. Jacobson, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined Roxborough Memorial Hospital Urgent Care.

 

Dr. Jacobson provides medical care to patients of all ages. He is committed to building trusting patient partnerships, where the patient actively participates in their wellness.

 

In his new role, Dr. Jacobson will work alongside a team of diverse, experienced professionals passionate about providing community-based urgent care.

 

As an advocate for health preventative services, Dr. Jacobson promotes health wellness and a friendly atmosphere in his practice. “I hope to educate my patients and their families so that they are equipped to make well-informed choices regarding their health,” said Dr. Jacobson. “My patients can expect a personalized approach to their care and an office environment free of judgment.”

 

Dr. Jacobson worked at Roxborough Memorial Hospital Urgent Care under an outside provider consulting organization from August 2019 to September 2021. Now, he is joining the Roxborough Family, employed by the hospital.

 

Dr. Jacobson is a seasoned physician with over 30 years of experience in family medicine, emergency care, and urgent care.  He began his career working part time at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia as an emergency room physician, a family medicine physician at Ambler Medical Associates and then at Horsham Medical Associates in Maple Glen. Dr. Jacobson gained urgent care experience at Abington-Jefferson’s Urgent Care in Flourtown, and then Roxborough Memorial Hospital Urgent Care.

 

Dr. Jacobson received his bachelor of science degree in biology from American University in Northwest Washington, DC, and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in family medicine at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
