Piotr Krecioch, MD, FACS, Joins Roxborough Memorial Hospital
Philadelphia, PA (May 20, 2024) – Piotr Krecioch, MD, FACS, board-certified general surgeon, has joined Roxborough Memorial Hospital. He previously worked as a general and bariatric surgeon at Mercy Surgical Associates in Darby, PA. Additionally, he was a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia, Nazareth Hospital, and Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Before these roles, he was employed at Main Line Health in the Department of Surgery.
“I firmly believe that patients should have the autonomy to steer their own medical care,” said Dr. Krecioch. “My role is to support this process by dedicating time to understand my patients and then assisting them in navigating their medical path.”
Dr. Krecioch earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Haverford College in Philadelphia, he went on to receive his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, also in Philadelphia. He furthered his training by serving as a Research Fellow in the Department of Surgery at Drexel University’s College of Medicine. Dr. Krecioch then completed a surgical residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
