Sheryl Kemmerer
Occupational Therapy
With over 27 years of experience in the field of occupational therapy, Sheryl Kemmerer is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing the lives of her clients. She earned her Master of Science degree from Temple University and initially focused on clinical research with children, contributing to various published collaborative works. Sheryl later joined the acute rehabilitation team at a prominent spinal cord injury center in Philadelphia, where she honed her skills as an advanced clinician, providing care for adults with neurological conditions.
Her career path then led her to specialize in outpatient hand therapy and acute care, working with individuals of all ages. Sheryl dedicated a decade to a level II trauma center, gaining extensive experience in acute care before bringing her expertise to Roxborough Memorial Hospital. There, she played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the occupational therapy services for the acute rehabilitation unit.
Outside of her professional life, Sheryl cherishes the time spent with her husband, their beloved dogs, and her three grandsons. She approaches her work with passion and creativity, striving to enhance her clients’ functional abilities and facilitate their return to meaningful activities they hold dear.
