Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)

Immerse yourself in a high-volume, high-acuity pediatric emergency department, managing a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries in children.

Inpatient Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children

Develop expertise in the comprehensive care of hospitalized children, managing complex pediatric conditions in a leading children’s hospital setting.

Sports Medicine at The Rothman Institute

Receive specialized training in musculoskeletal injuries, prevention, and rehabilitation, working alongside experts in sports medicine.

Inpatient Cardiology at The Chester County Hospital – Penn Medicine

Expand your knowledge in advanced cardiac care, including the management of acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases in a hospital setting.

Community Medicine & Health Systems Management (COM/HSM)

This unique, four-week rotation is divided into two distinct but complementary sections.

Community Medicine (2 weeks)

Residents actively engage with various local health resources, including the health department, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs, and local shelters. This experience aims to deepen understanding of the physician’s role within a community and to identify valuable resources for patient care and advocacy.

Health Systems Management (2 weeks)

Residents gain firsthand insight into the operational aspects of a medical practice by shadowing and actively participating in various administrative roles. This includes spending time at the front desk, managing phone calls, patient rooming, and handling prior authorization paperwork. This comprehensive exposure fosters an appreciation for the collaborative efforts required to deliver efficient and effective patient care.

Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine at Roxborough Memorial Hospital

Core rotations providing foundational knowledge and skills in adult inpatient care, surgical principles, and acute emergency management within our affiliated hospital.

Outpatient Pediatrics and Family Medicine at the Suburban Family Medicine Clinic

Develop longitudinal patient relationships and refine primary care skills in a supportive, resident-led outpatient setting.
